# Can Agents create a document in a connected platform?

Only when the Agent has a connected tool that supports the specific write action and the account has permission to use it. A data connection used for search may be read-only.

If no suitable write action is available, ask the Agent to draft the content in Counso, then copy it into the destination yourself. After any supported write, open the destination and confirm that the correct document was created or updated.
